  • Description

Threadleaf Coreopsis (Coreopsis verticillata) is a spreading, bushy plant 1-3′ tall. It features yellow, daisy-like flowers in loose clusters, with a lengthy late-spring to late-summer bloom. Deadheading plants in mid-summer will promote a fall rebloom. This is an excellent plant for butterflies and pollinators in addition to being quite hardy, as it is tolerant of deer, drought, and dry/shallow rocky soil. It is quite appealing in perennial borders, naturalized areas, native plant gardens and especially cottage gardens.
