Wild Pink is a low, mounded wildflower that gets nice clusters of pink flowers in mid to late spring. These have a high wildlife value as they are an important early nectar source for butterflies and other insect pollinators. They are fairly low maintenance with no insect or disease problems, however they are not tolerant of wet or poorly drained soils. They are stunning in rock gardens, border fronts and wildflower/native plant gardens.
Average, well-drained; Tolerates wide range including dry rocky or sandy soils.
Other Common Names
